About Joseph Korona
Joseph Korona has been creating memorable images for his clients in the tri-state area since 1976. He has vast experience as an exceptional wedding photographer, a successful commercial photographer and as a portrait artist. Joseph combines all his talents to give his clients a variety of photographic styles that are unique and creative. As a studio owner over the past 26 years, Joseph has paid his dues in the photography profession. Inspired in his youth, Joseph cultivated his love of photography from a hobby to a very successful and rewarding career. Originally self-taught, Joseph enrolled in the Ivy School of Progressional Art to sharpen his creative skills. He graduated with high honors and was the only student to make the Deans List every quarter. His career as a wedding specialist began while attending Ivy. Joseph photographed for several studios on a freelance basis, as he learned the photography and wedding business. In 1983, he opened his own business, specializing in high quality, low volume weddings, portraits, and commercial photography.
Joseph and his wife Linda, have been married since 2000. They are now proud parents of their son Dillon, born in October of 2005, at 5:30a.m, just hours before rushing to photograph the wedding day of a customer!
Joseph has earned the Master of Photography Degree and the Photographic Craftsman Degree, and has also received the esteemed, CPP, Professional Photographer Certification. In 1994 his commercial image of wine glasses, entitled, “Tipsy”, was chosen for the cover of the PPA International Loan Collection Book. Joseph has also had many images and wedding albums accepted into the prestigious, Loan Collection Book. He has also presented numerous seminars, and served as a Photo-Competition judge at many state photographic associations and organizations throughout the country.
Style, creativity and attention to detail, have been the formula for Joseph's success in the great profession of photography!
